My reply- absolutely! Have you ever wondered what career to go into, what kind of job to look for, what type of business to start or even which degree program or school to choose? A career personality test is able to help answer these questions. With our vocations taking up the majority of the waking hours in our lifetime it certainly makes sense to spend just a bit of time to find one that will make you happy and even excited to be a part of.

It does not take an expert to convince people that times are tough in this current job market; though, it might surprise you to find that hidden jobs, or what many people call it “unadvertised jobs” are what comprise the majority of the available job market.

I realize it’s difficult to break old habits when job searching; although, depending on a headhunter, or a recruiter should not be your primary basis to gain access to hidden jobs. Truth is, most job seekers are overlooked or passed up for career opportunities for one reason only- they don’t stand out. If the hiring authority can’t remember you, and if you did not submit for an advertised position prior to the mass population, how can you truly be remembered?

The answer to this problem is to fix your job hunting methods before your search for employment begins. Teach yourself to think outside of the box and develop original job hunting methods that will put you apart from others. Start by moving yourself out of the custom of inquiring about open positions or current job openings. Get in the habit of simply marketing your services to companies who are not actively running advertisements.

Secondly, think of finding a credible job board that proposes unadvertised or hidden jobs. These are hard to find; however, my investigation and recommendations for such websites prove precious, and so will yours.

Remember to educate yourself on how to enhance your job interviews. Believe it or not, the primary reason people get rejected for jobs (other than the employer simply not knowing that you exist because you only applied for advertised job articles ), is PERSONALITY. This interview error is critical.

That’s correct! Your personality plays a key role in hiring decisions. People employ who they like, and in many cases, hiring authorities are eager to hire a less experienced person if they believe they made a “connection” with the candidate. Don’t allow your pride to distract you from learning how to avoid interview mistakes that could cost you one of the jobs in Ohio.

Please do not allow yourself to simply depend on open jobs in Ohio to find work. Open your eyes and look around, and realize that every business in your field might have hidden opportunities that most of the public does not know about.

In fact, some employers have stated that they do not run ads for the jobs in Ohio search simply because they do not want to get besieged with thousands of resume submissions.
